It is 5am and we are getting dressed to take Michelle for an MRI, Cat Scan and blood work. After going months with no seizures she has had 4 hard seizures in 10 days. Pray for her as she was doing so well not just physically but emotionally.
I added a note late yesterday to the update and I will repeat it here. Debbie informed me via email that the result of the hurricanes on the Gulf Coast has indeed affected us dramatically. Our offerings were more than $25,000 less last month. But I do want you to know we were able to pay all of our bills on time and at the present time owe only the monies to the staff that I shared with you last week. So as I always do I ask you to pray for the finances to come in from some other source until our help on the Coast gets back to somewhat normalcy.
Yesterday I continued to enrol students for the 2006 school year. Evelyn, Elder and Aroldo were re-enrolled in America Latina in Chimaltenango; Lily pre-enrolled in Siglo in Antigua and Melvin is seeking to enrol today. So we are getting them all set for January, 2006 and again, even with the large number of college students we are enrolling, the Lord has kept us above water financially.
Today Wes arrives and has a dentist with him who only wants to check the teeth of the older children. He will begin this afternoon.
