Good Morning!?
Yes it is a good morning! Yesterday was also a good day. I got to work with the young ladies in the sewing classes. I had started teaching them how to crochet a necklace and found that several of them are quite capable at crochet. Knowing that, I have found some other projects that they might enjoy. We had a good time making the necklaces. I gave them way too much yarn in case of difficulties, but they all seemed to do pretty good. It is a quick project and I have included a picture of some of them working around the table.
There was no school yesterday. I usually tutor the principal and one of the career boys in English, but they were not to be found around here yesterday. I guess they were enjoying the day off. The power went out for a while and as I was making dinner, I told Bob the water pressure seemed very low. He took off and found some difficulties with the pump. He didn't come in until the wee hours of the morning, so I guess this is going to be a major fix. The power came on this morning at about 11 and is still with us, so I guess that part of it is fixed now. However, the water is still not working. I am glad I have been storing up extra gallon bottles as the tampico is emptied. At least we can flush and wash up and, most importantly, have coffee! :-) Just kidding - about the coffee, I mean. So, please pray for our water situation. I know God is able to help us discern the problem and have it resolved. He loves His children, and we are no exception. He knows our needs before we even ask, but it seems that He really likes it when we turn to Him and ask. So, ask. Please!
Thank you so much for your prayers. We need them daily, not just in a pinch and I know you are praying for us as we continue praying for you. God bless each and every one of you. We love you all so much. You'll never know how wonderful it is to hear from you and see you and know that you are there. Sometimes I miss my family so much I can hardly stand it. Just having them there to talk to has been such a blessing for me all my life. But, praise God for skype! I can talk to and look at my mom and know that she is well. Please add her to your prayer list, as well. She has been having a little trouble with her knees. She is very active and loves to work in the yard, so her knees need to be in good shape for that. Thank you.
Have a wonderful day in the Lord - every day!
In His Service,
Pamela
