Where has the time gone? Over the course of the last couple of weeks we attended two Christmas plays/concerts at school - one for Olivia and the other for Abigail. Both girls did a great job and we had a great time watching them perform.

John continues work on the addition and we are thankful for those of you who have helped finish the electric, hang drywall, cut and put the staircase in place, paint and many other projects we have going on. We are that much further along with everything and we are looking forward to the culmination of all the construction.

The boys have been playing with the scrap wood from the construction of the stairs, almost like big blocks. Every day they make something different, from ramps to houses and so on. Occasionally they use them as weapons and the play has to end for the day, but then they are back to constructing the next day.

Today we got 6 more boys from Angelitos - Leonel, Erick 5, Selvin, Brayan, Walter 4 and Joey. It was so cute to see how excited they were to be in a new dorm. Please pray for their adjustment to the dorm and that we will learn quickly what their needs are. One new boy has been asking to spend special time with our family every day. Thursday was our day off and on Friday when he saw me in the morning he came to give me a big hug as if he hadn't seen me in weeks. He is full of questions and wants to share all about his life before Casa. I pray that the Lord will give us just the right words to share with him.

Next Wednesday we will be leaving for the States for two weeks so we have been trying to get things squared away for the boys for Christmas. John, Carlos and the girls put up and decorated the boys' trees Saturday. John also put up the outside lights and garland. We will have the boys make a garland for their tree this week. They are so excited and counting the days until Christmas.

John is mudding walls as I write. He was working on our room and bathroom all day and is determined to get it done so we can paint. Then the floor can be tiled and we can move our things in.

I personally am enjoying the quiet (minus the fireworks outside). All the kids are sleeping and I won't be far behind them.
