I really need to get better at this journaling thing. I waited quite awhile to be added to website then I made one journal entry and forgot my password but now I'm back. Hopefully I try to be more consistent. Anyhow not a whole lot of new.
I had another birthday last months, 27 years old, so close to 30 I don't like to even think about it. But it was a nice day. Jacob and Jamie took me out to dinner and when I got back to the dorm the rest of the guys had 3 birthday cakes waiting on me. One by one they all came up an wished me Happy Birthday, some had hand written cards. It was very thoughtful. And then of course they smashed my face in one of the cakes, which is why it’s important to have three.
Work has come to standstill on the soccer field. It has become increasingly frustrating. But it’s the first field that I've ever attempted so I guess I should have expected some trial and error. I had a professional field guy come check it out. I spent about an hour speaking with, in English which was nice. I asked how much it would cost to finish it. Let’s just say I was floored. O well, you live and learn. Needless to say the field will probably not be finished anytime real soon.
The last bit of news I've got is that we are welcoming a new staff member today. I'll be Mandy up from the airport later today. She will be helping out Tim and Patty with the little girls.
For those of you who read my journal I'm going to try to update once a week. However in June I'll be in the States so if you don't hear from me you'll know why.
